The LVMH group continue to be heroes to those in France through their constant aid during this difficult period.
Earlier this month the group transformed some of its luxury perfume and cosmetics factories into hand sanitizer producers due to the shortage the country was facing. The hand sanitizer being produced is meant for public hospitals in Paris however the luxury goods producer will provide its most recent contribution to all those throughout France.
Currently, the LVMH group will be receiving 10 million masks before the end of this week. The masks are said to be arriving from a Chinese distributor according to a recent press release.
There will be seven million surgical masks and three million FFP2 masks, which are more robust and commonly used in construction. LVMH will continue to repeat the order in similar quantities for the next four weeks. Each week 10 million more masks will arrive will arrive in order to assist with the battle against the pandemic.
The first batch will come courtesy of LVMH’s Chief Executive Officer Mr Bernard Arnault after he contributed 5 million euros towards their purchase.
