Sir Anthony Hopkins seems set to leave Malibu behind having recently placed his estate in the city on the market.
The veteran actor’s home is situated on a cliff between the famous city’s beaches ‘Zuma’ and ‘Point Dume.’
The Cape Cod-style home is 4,010-square-feet with five-bedrooms, five-bathrooms, a one-bedroom guesthouse, a pool cabana that was most recently used as an art studio, an outdoor barbecue/kitchen area next to the pool and spa, as well as a master suite with a sauna.
This home is somewhat of a miracle home as well. Whilst multiple homes were destroyed in November 2018 by the Woolsey fire, this home remained unaffected.
Although that may not seem like a massive deal you should consider that the neighbouring home was almost completely destroyed.
Sir Anthony’s intentions are to sell the home for $11.5 million. He purchased it in 2001 for approximately $3,795,000.
