More bad news for Italian’s as the leader of the country’s co-ruling Democratic Party Nicola Zingaretti announces that he’s been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Since Saturday Politician has isolated himself at home. Those that he had come into contact with prior to the discovery of his infection have also been receiving checks to determine whether their safe or they’ve been infected.
Zingaretti shared his message on Facebook stating, “I have coronavirus too.”
Although Italy has introduced policies to contain the spread of the virus its currently still the most affected country in Europe.
Italy reportedly had a total of 4,636 cases and 197 deaths as of Friday. The country is currently reporting more deaths per day from the virus than any other country in the world.
