Money Truly Doesn’t Matter When You’re One Of The Greatest Athletes Of All Time

02 May 2020

Michael Jordan was offered $100 million to appear at an event for two hours, however, he declined the offer according to his agent.

The former NBA superstar and now multi-billionaire may have retired many years ago, although his off-court presence remains as sought after as ever.

The former Chicago Bulls star has largely stayed out of the limelight since he walked away from basketball nearly 2 decades ago. So much so that he once turned down a jaw-dropping amount of money for a two hour appearance at an event, his former agent, David Falk, said this week after an appearance and discussion on how picky his former client was when it came to projects, on WFAN’s ‘Boomer and Gio.’

“I got him a deal three years ago for $100 million. All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make a two-hour appearance to announce the deal and he turned it down.” Falk said Wednesday, without providing any additional details on the deal.
