LVMH Donating Hand Sanitiser To Public Hospitals Around Paris

Luxury goods company LVMH will be producing hand sanitizer for Hospitals in France continuing the trend of big business assisting governments in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

The French company announced that within this week it will produce approximately 12 tonnes of hand sanitizer for 39 public medical facilities throughout Paris.

According to the LVMH group three of their factories responsible for the production of Christian Dior, Guerlain and Givenchy cosmetics and perfume will be used to produce the hand sanitizer.

During the announcement LVMH shared that, “These gels will be delivered free of charge to the health authorities.”

The group went on to affirm, “LVMH will continue to honour this commitment for as long as necessary, in connection with the French health authorities.”

Recently, French authorities called for a limit to the number of sanitizer bottles that one individual could purchase. Pharmacies currently limit each customer to only one tiny bottle.
