Looking Back At The Release Of Nicki Minaj's Fendi Clothing Collection

October 15 was a memorable day for Nicki Minaj, Fendi and her fanbase. Rodeo drive was the place to be.

The area was filled with numerous celebrities that had come to celebrate the launch of Nicki Minaj’s “Capsule Collection” in collaboration with Fendi.

In attendance were stars Skai Jackson, Hailey and Chloe Bailey, Ming Lee, Diplo, Paris Jackson and Stormy Reid to name a few.

For the night the two-story Fendi Boutique building was endued with the colour pink.

Nicki Minaj’s collection consisted mainly of shimmery metallics and bold pink patterns which were also mixed with the signature symbol ‘F’ of the Italian Fendi brand.

Furthermore, her collection included popping pink dresses, body hugging netted silver dresses that came with matching pumps and a two-piece underneath. She also had some legendary silver door knocker earrings.

Nicki’s partner, Kenneth Petty was the representative of the men’s collection. He came donning his Fendi Prints On silver leather bomber with a matching baseball cap, ripped jeans and a white graphic t-shirt.

The t-shirt and the shoes he wore had an animated picture of Nicki Minaj on them – the cover art from her popular single “Chun Li.”

Nicki’s lyrics “Ayo I been on/ b**** you been con/ Bentley tints on/ Fendi prints on” are what actually inspired the creation of her personal collection with Fendi.

Fendi Prints On isn’t Nicki Minaj’s first go at fashion. In 2013, she debuted her first fashion line exclusively at Kmart which was designed for the everyday diva and which was budget friendly. 

With her latest collection being so high-end, Nicki Minaj described it as being for the “curvy and confident”.
