According To Angela Merkel 70% of The German Population Could Have The Coronavirus

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has announced that up to 70% of the German population could be infected with the coronavirus.

On Wednesday during a news conference the German Chancellor expressed her feelings concerning the disease and spoke about the inevitability of its presences consequences.

During her conference Angela Merkel stated, “When the virus is out there, the population has no immunity and no therapy exists, then 60 to 70 per cent of the population will be infected.”

She went on to add that the German people would “do what we need to get through” when it came to the issue of dealing with the coronavirus’s presence within the country.

The German government has refused to follow suit and close the country off to people from grossly infected countries. Germany has dismissed the belief that the virus can be contained through such a measure.

Currently Germany has had 2 reported deaths due the coronavirus and has 1,296 reported cases.
