The coronavirus outbreak in Italy did very little to hinder the Giorgio Armani Collection being showcased during Milan Fashion week.
After Italian authorities ordered the postponement or cancellation of public events due to the risk of the coronavirus spreading further throughout the country, the Milan-based fashion house chose to take to matters into its own hands.
Behind closed doors, models took to the runway and displayed the latest Autumn-Winter 2020 collection to the world through livestream.
At the end of the show Giorgio Armani made his way onto the stage and took a bow.
The show occurring behind closed doors highlights the impact that the coronavirus currently has and is going to continue having if it continues to spread.
In Asia, a handful of events have already been suspended indefinitely due to concerns caused be the presence of the virus.
